The Dude Abides at a UW Basketball Game!
I decided to post 2 tonight...the submissions are literally pouring in! This one is from Joy's good friend, and one of my Vegas Pals, Betsy.

Guess what...I was at a UW basketball game and I saw The Dude!!! He and Bucky were total BFFs. And I'll tell you what....if he can abide in Wisconsin, he can abide anywhere!

The Dude Abides...from The Dude himself (or El Duderino, if you're not into the whole brevity thing)
Okay, so...here's the story with this post. Back when I was initially coming up with this idea, I thought to myself "Wouldn't it be the most amazing thing ever if the original Dude (Jeff Bridges a la The Big Lebowski) would be willing to participate in some way?"
To my amazement, Jeff's assistant's (Becky) email was listed on his website. And I thought, "Well, what have I got to lose?" I initially contacted Becky earlier this year (right around Oscars time) and at the time Jeff was out of the country...she was super nice and said she would absolutely do something with it. And then a few weeks went by and she emailed me again said it was on its way...and today it finally arrived!!
So from one Dude to another...here it is:
Jeff & Becky...you guys rock!! Thank you so much!!
Dad...I'll be buying a frame for this and bringing it up to you the next chance I get! :-)
